THE SIKH GURUS

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA               WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

Sikhism is the religion of the Sikhs. Sikhism is not a blend or reproduction of earlier religions but a new revelation altogether. In its simplest form, Sikhism represents a spiritual path to God and a just social order for all. The religion was founded in Punjab, India by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and continued to progress with the added wisdom of nine more Gurus (1469-1708). The tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji proclaimed the eleventh and last Guru to be the Sri Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh holy book), which are the revered Holy scriptures of the Sikhs. The teachings that the Gurus gave to this world came to them directly from God.
